Not to start a huge "this vs. that" discussion, but Logic Audio Platinum is just as functional as Digital Performer IMO. You can create insane environments that suit your needs/imagination and it integrates with VST Instruments/plugins well. It can also use TDM hardware if you have it. I use both but find Logic far quicker to get ideas down with. Logic comes with over 30 proprietary plugins which are surprisingly good (love the Bit Crusher). Though, DP also has the proprietary thing going with their MAS plugins which can also be very cool. Check out the Audioease Nautilus Bundle - it has a really wicked granulator called Riverrun. Demos are available. www.audioease.com As stated in previous posts, it all depends on what sequencer works best with your setup/working methods. Try a few out and pick the one you like. No one should tell you which to use. ed :::::: Future Funk & Fury :::::: ::: http://www.nubreaks.com ::: --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
